THE COMPANY

Anatole Zembok and Christine Pierre create immersive spaces to build, explore, and contemplate, made of living architecture and evolving bamboo structures. Suitable for all audiences.

The duo highlights the process/gesture of the builder in their various proposals. They design and bring to life different architectural structures, offering the public freedom to explore these spaces, allowing them to move from contemplation to action: these installation periods create gatherings, mix audiences, and allow everyone to move back and forth between the role of spectator and participant.

Seduced by the efficiency of bamboo, which combines mechanical performance, aesthetics, and environmental benefits, they have been exploring this material since 2010 (performances, installations, bamboo big tops, climbing architectural structures). Their work lies at the intersection of performing arts, crafts, and architecture.

The MOSO Company, founded in 2011 in Strasbourg (under the name Tête allant vers…), is subsidized by the DRAC Grand-Est, the Grand-Est Region, the Haut-Rhin General Council, and the City of Strasbourg. In 2019, the company moved to Occitanie and became MOSO. It established its workshop in Sète within the "L'Astrelier" collective.

In the Cévennes region of Gard today, Anatole and Christine maintain a bamboo grove, allowing them to manage the entire process: from managing new shoots to cutting the best specimens suitable for their architectural structures.
